The Miracle Dress

My energy really comes to life when it comes to events and dressing up.

So recently when a friend introduced me to a store, I stopped by and was inspired by all the dresses.

They suited my Kibbe Body Type, something I have had great fun studying the last couple years.

The problem was, at least in my perception, I had nowhere to wear a dress like this, they were all very red carpet.

In that moment I said to my Spiritual Team:

“Send me a wonderful event for one of these dresses."

A few days later I remembered I had an invite to a dinner on the Solstice and following up on the invite you can imagine my delight to discover the dinner was a Gala Event.

The Lucie Awards happens annually in prime locations like Broadway and Carnegie Hall, celebrating the world’s best photographers, and this year it was happening in our little White City of Ostuni and I was invited!

Bingo, dress needed.

I knew Spirit was likely laughing at me since even when I was in that store browsing the first time, I already had somewhere to wear one of these dresses all along.

How often that happens, we are looking at life from a place of lack or wanting and life has the invite, resource or person already waiting in the wings.

So off I went to get a dress.

I prayed over my choice asking Spirit to guide me to something that felt totally glam and red carpet.

Trying on this teal-coloured one I knew I had found my dress.

I had a price in mind I didn't want to go over, and when I saw the cost of the dresses I was a bit discouraged.

But I was brave and asked the owner what the price would be for me, knowing that as a "friend of a friend" there would likely be a discount.

When she said the number I knew it was the Spiritual Team as it was right on budget!

So here I am in said dress thankful to my Team not only for the perfect dress but the most incredible event to wear it to.

It was a very special evening and I am reminded how well-supported and loved we are that we can ask our Spiritual Team for help with everything...even a dress and a red carpet event to go to.
