On Retreat in Paris
I've been in Paris the past week, first to engage in a small group coaching retreat with the coach I worked with at the beginning of my biz and then to soak in the beauty and creative spirit of Paris.
It's been so good to put myself in this space, enjoying the city alone and receiving coaching from someone that gets me!
This is us out to dinner. Gina and I have remained friends since I worked with her a decade ago to launch my dream biz.
There's something entirely different about being in person too versus on Zoom.
It was nourishing in a way that reinspired my own vision to offer more in-person experiences in my business, something I did so often before Covid.
But the surprising part was realising something I hadn't quite seen....
When I asked Gina what her guidance was for me she said:
"How good are you going to let life get, Grace?"
That really inspired me!
I feel I've done very well at reinventing myself since the loss of my partner Francesco in 2020.
A new home, a glam life, a passionate love, a new business model but I also see it doesn't have to stop there....
The new life can be even better than the old!
Walking the streets of Paris, dining in the brasseries and simply having time to retreat solo I also saw something else for myself.
I tend to live miraculously — following guidance and asking for spiritual support, usually with great results.
There's one surprising area I wasn't asking for the miracle at all.
I was just putting up instead.
All that gets to change now that I see clearly the game being played.
I hope what I realised on retreat in Paris might also help you today.
Can you see places you're not expecting the miracle at all?
Are you looking back at your old life missing out on what's possible in a new life ahead?
Whatever it is, give yourself permission to let life get way better and don't forget to ask for the miracle in ALL areas, not just some.
